My connection to Maine started in 2012 when I enrolled at the University of Maine to study Civil Engineering. What began as a college chapter turned into a fourteen-year relationship with a state I'm proud to call home.

After graduating, I built my career in the field — working as a carpenter, then moving into project management for medium-sized construction projects. Over time, something clicked. The technical foundation from my engineering education and the hands-on reality of how buildings actually get built started working together in a way that pointed me somewhere new.

I became a home inspector because I saw a gap worth filling. Buying or selling a home is one of the most significant decisions most people will ever make — and too often, the people making that decision don't fully understand what they're looking at. I wanted to change that. Not just by checking boxes on a report, but by genuinely helping homeowners, buyers, and sellers understand the systems, conditions, and maintenance needs of the homes they're investing in.

I hold a Certified Professional Inspector designation through InterNACHI, the world's leading inspection association — a credential I pursued by choice, because doing this right matters to me.
